What goes on a pool service invoice

A pool service invoice is more than a receipt. Done right, it sets payment terms, documents the work, and gives the customer a clean record they can send to their property manager or accountant without questions. Operators who treat invoicing as a project (rather than an afterthought) get paid faster, fight fewer disputes, and look more professional. The invoice generator above covers every field you need.

Add ons

Equipment upgrade, energy audit, LED lighting, salt conversion, water feature service, deck cleaning, emergency callout.

Invoice generator FAQ

Is this really free?

Yes. No signup, no watermark, no monthly fee. We built this for the pool service market because every operator we talked to was either using a generic template or paying QuickBooks $30/month for something simpler than this.

Do I need an account?

No. Fill in the form, click download, save the PDF. The data lives in your browser only. We do not see your invoices.

How do I add my logo?

Click "Upload logo" in the business section. PNG, JPG, or SVG, under 2 MB recommended for crisp PDF rendering. Square or wide rectangle works best.

Can I save a template?

Not yet. Bookmark this page and your business info defaults will reappear if you stay in the same browser. For real templates and recurring billing, the Pooly app does that natively.

What payment terms should I use?

Net 15 is the floor for residential. Due on receipt for one off services. Net 30 for property managers and commercial accounts. Anything past Net 30 starts costing you working capital.

Should I charge sales tax?

Depends on the state. Most labor for pool maintenance is not taxable, but parts and equipment usually are. Talk to a CPA. The form has a tax rate field if you need it.

Tired of generating invoices one at a time?

Pooly generates invoices automatically after every visit, runs auto pay, and chases late payments without you lifting a finger.
